There’s No Right or Wrong Way to Be a Witch
If there’s one thing I’ve learned on my journey, it’s this: the magic is YOURS.
It doesn’t belong to a dusty old rulebook, to someone else’s Instagram aesthetic, or even to traditions passed down for centuries — unless those traditions sing to you.
Witchcraft is not a club with a membership card.
It’s a relationship — between you and the world around you, the cycles of nature, the rhythms of your own heart.
Your Intuition Is the Compass
One of the most freeing moments in my practice was realizing I didn’t have to do something just because “that’s the way it’s done.”
My intuition is my most powerful tool. It tells me when to light the candle, when to speak the words, and when to sit quietly instead of doing anything at all.
Rituals That Work for You
Some witches rise before dawn and spend an hour on their craft every day.
Others sprinkle their magic into stolen moments —
-
a whispered blessing over morning coffee
-
a pocket stone held during a meeting
-
a jar of herbs tucked into the pantry
Both ways are valid. Both are magic.
A Lifelong Learner’s Path
Witchcraft is not a skill you “complete” — it’s a lifelong conversation.
We learn from books, from teachers, from mistakes, and from that one moment in the garden when the wind shifts and we suddenly understand something we didn’t before.
There’s no deadline. No finish line. Only unfolding.
Finding Your Own Way
You may feel pulled toward kitchen magic, moon phases, tarot, plant allies, ancestral work, or something entirely your own.
You might weave together bits from many paths into something uniquely yours. That’s not “wrong” — that’s the very heart of the craft.
Your Magic, Your Rules
You are allowed to grow. You are allowed to change your mind. You are allowed to try something once and never again.
The magic is in the doing, in the connection, in the noticing — not in the perfection.
So light your candle, or don’t.
Cast your circle, or simply close your eyes and breathe.
Chant in rhyme, or speak in your own words.
